We are thrilled to share the success of Mr Rosco Burrow’s Parent Information session on ‘Phonics and Home Readers’. This session provided valuable insights into our pedagogical approaches and how we honour the whole child while maintaining rigour in our English Literacy curriculum. Reading is not just about phonics but confidence in identifying and blending sounds is crucial for fluency and independence ahead of our pupils moving into the next stage of their education in the Junior School.
