Early Years Team Workshop On The Use of Clay

The Pune Early Years team recently participated in a workshop at Studio Farishtey led by renowned local Pottery and Ceramic Artist, Veena Chandran. The session provided the team an opportunity to reflect on the use of clay within the early years setting and classrooms, how children can use their processes to create, and how clay is used to give children ‘another language for expressing their thoughts, ideas, and emerging working theories about their world’ ( Ministry of Education, UK, 1996).
